Oak Ridge High School Art Department

I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a double major in Art and English.  I taught for four years in Michigan (two years in 6-8 and two years 9-12) and moved to Texas in June 2011 after finishing my Master's in Middle-Level Instruction from Saginaw Valley State University.  I also hold Principal certification from Sam Houston State. This is my seventh and last year at ORHS 9th as we will be moving back to Michigan. 

 

AP Art History is an advanced course exposing students to 250 pieces of art with global significance.  Students analyze, describe, investigate, and create art in this course.  The official College Board test is set for Tuesday, May 8.  Students are not required to take this exam, but it is encouraged for the opportunity to earn college credit.
