Oak Ridge High School Art Department

I was born in Houston and have lived in Texas all my life. I have always had an interest in art and have been able to use a variety of media and approaches in my art making. I have a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas in Austin and a MFA in Painting from the University of Houston. I began teaching at the college level in 2002 and teaching high school in 2004.

 

I believe that to teach art you must make art so I am always creating and showing my artwork. Art is a skill to be developed and I enjoy helping artists of all ages to improve their abilities and make work that they are proud of.
